Profiling Brazilians
It turns out the man shot under London’s new, secret, shoot-to-kill orders was a Brazilian. So far it seems he was spotted leaving a house under surveillance, was chased by 20 plainclothes cops — who I’m assuming identified themselves as cops, tackled, and then shot 5 times in the head.
Who knows why he ran. No papers? Arrest warrants? Language barrier? There’s plenty of reasons to run from the cops. Few, if any, are legitimate. Also few are the ones that warrant this sort of treatment. Maybe shoot to kill orders shouldn’t be secret?
